GROWING CONDITIONS
Well drained, slightly acid soil. Full Sun.
FRUIT
Small, oblong cones only about 2" long.
FOLIAGE
Evergreen needles. Slender, twisted, 3-5" long. When mature, the bark turns a vibrant orange-red, which is especially striking against the snow.
FAVORITE CULTIVARS
'Pendula' is pictured on this site. It is perfect on the edge of a pond or stream.
