PLANT JOURNAL

COMMON NAME    Pumpkin Hypericum

BOTANICAL NAME   Hypericum x inodorum ‘Kolmapuki’

ZONE         6 – 9

SIZE       3-5’ HT     3-5’ SP

FOLIAGE​     Medium green leaves. Deciduous.

FLOWER   Golden Yellow in late spring and quite showy

FRUIT   Upright, elongated bright orange berries.

GROWING CONDITIONS   Tolerant of many soil types.  Drought tolerant. Full Sun to Part Shade.  Can tolerate deep shade.  Does not like wet feet.

NOTES  The plant was bred specifically for the Cut Flower Industry.  Valued more for the berries than the flowers. Deer Resistant, Resistant to Rust.
