Medium green leaves that turn yellow in the fall. Occasionally, fall color will be red as well.

FLOWER

White with yellow anthers in late spring to early summer.

Small, white, pendulous balls causing the tree to appear to still be in bloom.

GROWING CONDITIONS

Prefers acid soil. Full sun to partial shade.

INTERESTING CULTIVARS

‘Carillon’ is the weeping form. It can also reach 20-30’ ht and spread.
